Michelle Chrastil, Ma LPC
Michelle Chrastil is our Director of Counseling Services and the owner of Blue Moon Counseling. Michelle has worked with children and families for over 10 years providing counseling services with great ability to impact change. She is also the owner of Blue Moon Counseling. As the owner, Michelle always is looking to hire team members with personalities that bring warmth and comfort to clients thus building strong therapeutic trusting relationships to help clients change.
She began Blue Moon Counseling, a group practice of professionals, after she experienced her own successful working relationships at previous positions working for large private practices. Through this group practice model, she was able to gain experience and build her private practice caseload while being part of a team environment. Being a part of a team allowed her, at the beginning of her career, to build confidence and to gain important experience which improved her skills greatly. Once Michelle’s private practice became too full and her reputation led to an overflow of client referrals, she took the leap of faith and expanded to Blue Moon Counseling where she could finally hire her own great team. Blue Moon Counseling continues to grow and expand. Now our clients benefit from this great team and can pick from a variety of services to meet their own individual and family needs thus meeting therapy goals more quickly. Although Michelle’s caseload is typically full and does not accept new clients, previous clients have described her as being warm, transparent, dedicated, and greatly impactful.
